Bedford is Running Out of Space - 9/18/2007
Bedford, NH, likes to think of itself as a country town, but it borders the largest city in the state and attracts lots of people, so the small town flavor is gone as commercial developments and housing have used up nearly all the space.
Too little land area has been set aside as open space because the town wants to leverage as many property tax sources as possible.
